Motor vehicle related crashes (MVCs) continues to be a topic of concern. In the United States, MVCs are the leading cause of death among children. Low occupant restraint usage has been cited as a contributor to MVC injuries and fatalities. An identified effective strategy to address low occupant restraint usage and MVCs is through distribution and education programs. This CARS guide is a tool designed to assist community champions educate and distribute car seats and booster seats in their communities. It encompasses a community approach to achieve its goal. This 30-minute webinar will provide an overview of the CARS program guide its contents.
